Did you know that Western Health cares for more than 3,000 cancer patients every year?
The services across Melbourne’s west are one of the state’s busiest - only Peter Mac has higher patient levels. Cancer care extends beyond immediate hospital treatment and at Western Health we want to give our cancer patients the best possible chance of a strong recovery; with best care both in and out of hospital.
Register for WalkWest, and help your health service care for your community.

Where your fundraising goes
All funds raised from WalkWest VLC will go directly to supporting care for cancer patients living in Melbourne’s west.
- $50 could cover the costs of a taxi to and from a chemotherapy session for patients with no transport options;
- $100 could provide a pack of essential care items to a patient diagnosed with cancer;
- $250 could pay for a patient to enrol in a specially tailored gym program to help them meet the physical challenges of chemotherapy.
The more we raise, the more we can help.
Together we can create best care for the west.
