Fundraiser stories

Our busy lifestyles mean that we can get so caught up in work that we forget the importance of community, teamwork and participating in healthy activities.

WalkWest is a great community event that promotes a healthy lifestyle and raises funds for Western Health.

WalkWest brings together Western Health staff, patients and their families, and the wider community to raise money for Western Health.

My dog Ziggy and I take part every year. Ziggy loves the attention and has even raised $100 from his facebook page. We can’t wait for the 2020 event."

It’s a great cause to be involved and people were happy to support knowing the funds are directly benefiting our local community."
